Questions
Straight answers, including the awkward ones.
If a question is missing, ask it. We would rather answer it than have you guess.
- Who is MyPaystrax?
- MyPaystrax LLC is a Florida company and an independent referral partner of Paystrax. We qualify businesses and introduce them to Paystrax. We are not Paystrax, not a bank, and not a payment institution, and we do not hold your funds.
- Do I sign with you or with Paystrax?
- With Paystrax. Paystrax contracts merchants, issues the merchant IDs, settles to you and handles support and chargebacks.
- Do I pay MyPaystrax?
- MyPaystrax is compensated by Paystrax for merchants it refers. The fees you pay for card acquiring are set out in Paystrax's commercial proposal.
- Which sectors do you work with?
- High risk is the focus: prop trading, iGaming and casino, crypto, forex and CFD brokers, digital goods and subscriptions. Standard risk ecommerce too. Adult content, illegal goods or services, and anything the card schemes prohibit are not accepted.
- Can you guarantee that I will be approved?
- No. Paystrax decides, case by case, after underwriting and risk review, and we cannot influence the outcome. What we can do is tell you accurately what your profile faces before you spend weeks finding out.
- Do I need a European company?
- You need an entity, or a paying agent, registered in the EU, EEA or UK. Where you hold an offshore licence or are registered outside Europe, a paying agent in that territory is the main requirement. We will walk you through what qualifies.
- Which offshore licences are accepted?
- Both onshore and offshore licences are considered. Curaçao is accepted. Anjouan is accepted subject to additional due diligence. Mwali and St. Lucia offshore licences are not accepted. Other licences are considered and may require a legal opinion.
- How long does it take?
- A complete merchant application is reviewed by Paystrax within three business days. Pre-approval and the commercial proposal have no published timing, so we do not promise one. Total time depends mostly on how quickly your documents come together. Merchant IDs and a test gateway are issued before the documents close, so your integration can run in parallel.
- When do I get settled?
- Weekly on a T+3 basis as standard, directly to you by Paystrax. Faster frequencies can be discussed case by case. Settlement is available in 17 fiat currencies via SEPA and international SWIFT, and in approved stablecoins after an initial live processing period of approximately three months.
- What will underwriting look at?
- Principally your processing history and your chargeback, fraud and refund ratios, alongside your licensing where your sector requires it, your corporate structure and beneficial owners, and how your product and terms are presented at checkout. Requirements vary by sector, and we tell you which apply to you.
- Is a reserve applied?
- Reserve type and value are set by Paystrax for each merchant, based on risk, and appear in its commercial proposal. We tell you what we know about your sector before you apply, so there are no surprises later.
- Can I take payouts to card?
- Card payouts via Visa OCT and Mastercard MoneySend can be enabled after approximately three months of live processing, subject to performance and monitoring. This matters most for prop firms, brokers and gaming operators paying out to end users.
- What does the fit score mean?
- It is our own preliminary assessment of how well your profile matches what Paystrax asks for. It is not an approval, not a Paystrax decision, and it creates no record with Paystrax or any card scheme unless you agree to a submission.
- What happens to my data?
- We share your answers with Paystrax only with your consent, to request a pre-approval. The privacy notice explains what we hold, why, and your rights.
