Process
The five stages.
- 01
Apply for pre-approval
Ten minutes. You answer the questions Paystrax asks at pre-approval, and you get our own read on your profile straight away. It is our assessment, not a Paystrax decision.
- 02
We review your profile
Our team reviews your answers and tells you where the file looks weak and what would strengthen it. When you are ready, your application goes forward for pre-approval.
- 03
Paystrax pre-assesses
Paystrax's team performs an initial assessment of your application. Paystrax publishes no timing for this step, so we do not promise one.
- 04
Commercial proposal
If you are pre-approved, Paystrax sends its commercial proposal and any conditions. This is where pricing and the requirements for your business are set out.
- 05
Onboarding with Paystrax
A Paystrax account manager takes you through the merchant application. Paystrax issues inactive merchant IDs and a test gateway, you provide your documents, and you go live once the account is activated. A complete application is reviewed within three business days.
Why it moves faster
Applications fail on preparation, not on merit.
- The file goes in complete
- Most pre-approvals stall because something is missing, not because the business is wrong. We check your answers against what Paystrax asks before you apply.
- Integration starts before the paperwork closes
- Paystrax issues inactive merchant IDs and a test gateway once its critical underwriting checks are complete. Your engineers work in parallel with the documentation rather than waiting behind it.
- You know what will be asked
- Sector by sector, we know what Paystrax asks for. You get that list up front, so you are gathering documents in week one instead of week three.
- No surprises at the end
- We tell you what we know about schemes, documents and requirements for your sector before you commit time. Paystrax's commercial proposal then sets the final terms.
